Svalbard On The Rocks..

I own and paddle a kayak called SVALBARD made in Norway
by EIAN FRITID
Had to put out pictures from last easter.

And then it turned white...

And then it turned white again... In May? Spring was gone and winter came back..


Not much kayaking in this weather...

Arctic spring ...

7. May. Patrick and I went padling one night in an amazing Artic spring weater.... The pictures kinda speaks for themselves...

After a long winter.....

At last after a long long winter at 70`N 30`E the paddle season was here... 11. april.
I went to my friend Patrick and got my kayak out from winter storage, thanks Pat for taking care of my kayak.
During the winter Pat and I had fixed some scrathes, and some small craks, and at last, it was time to paddle..
The first trip 2006 vent from Pat to my sea-side cabin, its only a few miles, but its a start. As I was ready to go, I discovered that my paddle was broken, so I had to borrow Pat`s. But the damage was not worse than that I could fix it myselves, so Pat got his paddle back the very next day
